Challenge

Seattle's Secure Scheduling Ordinance went into effect and a local coffee shop chain needs to update and train managers to ensure compliance. Under this new law, managers must give employees advanced notice of schedule changes and adjust compensation rates for certain scenarios. If they don't follow the law, the business could be fined and would likely be subject to some bad publicity - negatively affecting revenue.

Solution

The client cannot afford for managers to spend a lot of time on this training, so this self-guided Articulate Storyline learning experience was designed to keep the training short but ensure that managers learn the details of the new ordinance and understand how it means they will need to handle employee schedules and compensation.

The target time allocation for completing this training is 20 minutes.
